Gahn awoke with in a cold sweat. The dream had haunted him again. Each time it came he would feel out of place and alone in his home town. For some reason this dream felt more real than his other dreams. It always stayed with him for a few days. He went on with his day as a fisherman's apprentice with aspirations to be a great warrior and get out of this small fishing town. It may be the first port into Valon Peninsula but it sure did seem to be nowhere to him. That is until that day.... The dream tormented him again but this time he was awoken by the sound of people screaming. He jumped up and grabbed his father's old sword. Hardly the weapon of a warrior, but better than nothing. As he ran out of his house he realized that a band of brigands had come in by sea and was pillaging his home town. In a rage he attacked the first one he saw. The brigand laughed as his blow knocked Gahn to the ground. Fortunately, his friend, Jason, jumped in and saved him. Jason looked at Gahn and said the last thing he would hear from any of his friends and family ever again: And thus began the adventures of Gahn... |
